I love these shots. Capturing him looking away pulls you into what he's looking at. Same with him about to go over the bridge. I want to continue with him and see where it goes.
These are wonderful! You have done a fabulous job telling the story of your morning bike ride. I almost feel like I was there! The first photo is great because it has the tree with the leaves in the foreground and the bridge in the background, so the viewer has multiple supported subjects to see. The photo that is second from the bottom is beautifully composed. The subject placement in perfect - it emphasizes the size of the task ahead of him.
Critique: Try to avoid cropping at people's joints or lower legs. The second photo would have been even better if the whole bike wheel and his foot were still in the shot.
