Experimenting with exposure settings

Sprinklers in the field behind our house.
Shutter speed 1/500 - Aperture F4.9 - ISO 100
Shutter speed 1/250 - Aperture 13.4 - ISO 100

White raspberry
Shutter speed 1/500 - Aperture 10.8 - ISO 100

Red raspberry
Shutter speed 1/500 - Aperture F10 - ISO 400

This cat wandered by while I was out in our raspberry bushes taking pictures. As soon as the camera went off, he ran out of there in a hurry. I think I scared him half to death.

These bowls have special meaning to me. My father made many, many of them which he gave away to friends and family. He died just a few years ago, which makes them even more precious to me. He was fabulous with wood!

Very cool bowls, that is so neat that you have them as a keepsake, great pictures!

These are wonderful! The photos of the sprinklers are great because you can really see what a difference a change in shutter speed will make. I also love the color and clarity in the photos of the wood bowls. They're beautiful!

Critique: The photos of the raspberries seem almost too contrasty. The light was too harsh. If there was a flash used, it should have been farther away from the subject. If it was the bright sun, try going back at just before sunset. The light is beautiful at that time of evening.
